What You’ll Do

As part of the Construction Quality team, you will:

• Oversee the construction processes of solar projects, ensuring compliance with engineering designs, safety protocols, and quality standards throughout the lifecycle of each project

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and ensure that all work aligns with technical specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that construction activities are executed on schedule, within budget, and with a focus on quality

• Review and approve construction documentation, including work permits, inspection reports, and construction schedules

• Inspect construction work at various stages to ensure the quality of materials used, such as mounts, panels, wiring, and inverter installations

• Identify and address construction challenges related to site conditions, environmental factors, or logistical constraints, ensuring effective solutions to minimize project delays

• Ensure that all materials and equipment meet the specified quality standards, conducting acceptance tests and quality control checks prior to installation

• Monitor safety compliance at construction sites, ensuring all team members adhere to safety standards, guidelines, and best practices

• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on construction activities, quality assurance checks, and non-conformance issues, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project

• Support commissioning activities, ensuring that all installations are verified, tested, and meet performance expectations before handover to the client

• Provide training and guidance to construction teams to promote quality-focused practices and improve construction performance

Who Should Apply

We’re looking for professionals who are:

• Qualified in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or related technical fields

• Experienced in construction quality management, inspections, or site supervision, preferably within the renewable energy or solar sector

• Familiar with construction codes, industry standards, and best practices in solar installation and infrastructure

• Skilled in quality control processes, construction documentation, and site inspection procedures

• Detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining construction quality

• Strong communicators, able to interact effectively with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure construction goals are met

• Knowledgeable about safety protocols and compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations
