What You’ll Do

As part of the Transformer Contracting team, you will:

• Develop procurement strategies for transformer selection, focusing on capacity, voltage levels, efficiency, and grid compliance

• Assess project requirements to specify transformer types (step-up, step-down, or custom designs) based on energy conversion and system compatibility

• Finalize contracts with transformer suppliers, ensuring terms for product specifications, performance warranties, delivery schedules, and post-installation services

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure transformers are compatible with the overall system design, including electrical protection, voltage stability, and load requirements

• Negotiate favorable pricing, warranty conditions, and after-sales support while ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, BIS)

• Oversee factory acceptance tests, pre-shipment inspections, and quality checks to ensure transformers meet technical and safety specifications

• Manage logistics, track inventory, and coordinate timely delivery to avoid project delays

• Monitor performance and assist in troubleshooting or system optimization post-installation to ensure long-term operational efficiency

Who Should Apply
